Brian Littrell is an American singer, songwriter and actor, best known as a member of the Backstreet Boys. he was born in February 20th 1975 in Lexington, Kentucky,son to and Harold Baker Littrell, Jr. He has an older brother Harold, and is a cousin of fellow Backstreet Boys member Kevin Richardson.
He is as well a CCM singer and has launched a solo album, Welcome Home, in 2006. he has had five top 20 solo singles on the Christian charts in the US. He started off singing in the choir of Porter Memorial Baptist Church in Lexington, he later joined his high school choir and also acting in the school production of Grease as Roger at Tates Creek High School. away from school.

Littrell was so instrumental in bringing a lawsuit against the group’s managers Lou Pearlman and Trans Continental In 1997, he claimed that Pearlman has not been truthful about the earnings made by the group. He was then joined with McLean, Richardson and Dorough joined the lawsuit which resulted in a number of settlements.
He produced his first solo album,” Welcome Home,” that was released on May 2, 2006. the same year Littrell was an award winner of the GMA Dove Award for Inspirational Recorded Song of the Year for “In Christ Alone,” with his songwriters Don Koch and Shawn Craig. He as well won three extra Doves for collaboration projects in 2008, Special Event Album of the Year for Glory Revealed (various artists) and the Inspirational Recorded Song of the Year for “By His Wounds”, from that album; and in 2010, Special Event Album of the Year for Glory Revealed II.
He was born with a heart defect that brought him several times into the hospital with life-threatening conditions – for two months alone when he was 5 years of age because of a bacterial infection. An open heart surgery in 1998 closed the hole he had in his heart.
