Chris Jansing is an American with Hungarian and Slovak ancestry journalist and television news correspondent who currently works as the Senior White House Correspondent for NBC news. Furthermore, she also works for MSNBC alongside Brian Williams.
She is well known for being the NBC News senior white house correspondent from 2014 to January 20, 2017. She as well hosted an MSNBC show called Jansing and Company.

Originally a political science major, Jansing switched majors to broadcast journalism after working for the college radio station. In 1978, she graduated from Otterbein College with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
