Craig Kilborn PhotographCraig Kilborn Show -What Happened To Craig Kilborn
In an interview, he said that he didn’t leave for any particular reason except that he wanted to. He felt that he had done what was to do and at that point in his career nothing had seemed to be especially interesting. Eventually, he came back with an idea for a show called The Kilborn File, but after a six-week showing it was canceled and Kilborn simply bowed out of Hollywood altogether save for cameos now and again.
Kilborn tended to do things to move along like well-oiled machine and didn’t respond well to things that didn’t go his way. This indicates that if he didn’t find something entertaining he wasn’t all that into it. While this is understandable it as well appears to indicate that he wasn’t always an agreeable person on set.
Kilborn is said to have had roles in recent years. Unfortunately, none of them has been particularly memorable or in any way worthy of his actual talents. Some believe he should have never left The Daily Show or ESPN. As it’s already been explained he didn’t care for the direction that the writers wished to go.
It says The Late Late Show was perhaps one of the reasons why he became disillusioned with the Hollywood experience, as the writing staff was often blamed for the shortcomings of the show. Additionally, it was blamed for the lackluster way that Kilborn reacted.
With no doubt that he could have gone a great deal further than he did, but him having an attitude and the lack of success that his later endeavors had, not surprising that few people have heard from him in the past several years.
Not many actors willingly take themselves out of the business for anything less than a solid reason, but Kilborn seems to have bowed out. He was bowed simply because he couldn’t hang with the direction his career was going.

“Dance, Dance, Dance” performances (showing up Ellen DeGeneres by having a whole group of people joins him on the dance floor) and then slowly walked off stage. He later paused and winked at the camera and a black and white montage informed viewers of how Kilborn spent the rest of his life, up in the Hollywood Hills, drinking at 2 p.m. and laughing a mans laugh.
Craig Kilborn Kraft -Craig Kilborn Mac And Cheese
When Kraft started airing the TV commercial that informs consumers that its popular mac & cheese was reformulated months ago, removing artificial flavors, preservatives, and synthetic colors. The wasn’t clever and clearly communicates how the brand made the product healthier even though no one really noticed.
Given the tone of this quirky commercial, it brought a sense that Kraft would want to use a rather snarky personality to front the spot, however, the selection of Kilborn is people, exing. He was popular, especially among young males in the years 1993-2004. He was an anchor on ESPN’s Sports Center; the first host of The Daily Show (pre-Jon Stewart) and host of CBS’ The Late Late Show in the time slot following David Letterman. But he’s essentially been off the air for 12 years and that’s an awfully long time in this fast-paced media world.
Moms and kids, the primary consumers of mac & cheese, probably have no idea who Kilborn is and since most aren’t familiar with his acerbic wit and sarcastic tone, it seems that the whole point of using him misses the mark. Maybe Kilborn wanted to use this opportunity to venture back out into the spotlight. Maybe the creative team at Kraft were big Kilborn fans in the ’90s. But this one has left me scratching my head.
