Dinah Jane Biography
Dinah Jane (Dinah Jane Milika Ilaisaane Hansen) is an American singer, best known as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, which was formed on the second season of The X Factor US in 2012.
She is signed as a solo artist with L.A. Reid’s HitCo Entertainment.

In 2012Hansen auditioned for The X Factor singing “If I Were a Boy” by Beyoncé and for her boot camp solo performance she sang “Hero” by Mariah Carey and is the only member from Fifth Harmony to have it aired.
For her boot camp round singing, she sang against Diamond White and she sang “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)” during which she forgot some of the lyrics. Dinah was eliminated during the boot camp round of the competition but was brought back along with Ally Brooke, Normani, Lauren Jauregui, and Camila Cabello to form the group now known as Fifth Harmony.
The group made to the finals and landed in third place.
In October 2013, Fifth Harmony released their first EP, Better Together and in 2015 they released their debut album, Reflection, followed by their second album, 7/27, in 2016, which spawned singles such as “Worth It” and “Work from Home”, respectively.
On August 25, 2017, the group released their self-titled album, their first as a quartet. Later on March 19, 2018, the group announced their decision to take an indefinite hiatus to pursue solo careers.

In 2015, Dinah auditioned for the role of the main character in the then-upcoming animated film Moana a role that eventually went to Auliʻi Cravalho. Fuse’s website included Dinah on an article of the faces of future Asian and Pacific history, naming the most promising entertainers of the region in 2017.
Dinah was featured in RedOne’s song “Boom Boom” along with Daddy Yankee and French Montana and she also sang the Tongan national anthem “Ko e fasi ‘o e tu’i ‘o e ‘Otu Tonga” on November 24, 2017, at the 2017 Rugby League World Cup semi-final game.
she also released a Christmas medley with singer Leona Lewis and also collaborated with Ty Dolla Sign and Marc E. Bassy for her debut solo single “Bottled Up”, which was released with its accompanying lyric video on September 21, 2018.
She performed the single on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and also performed her two singles Retrograde and I don’t Mind at the Jingle Bash on December 3, 2018.
