Kevin Lawrence is an American meteorologist. Lawrence is currently the chief meteorologist at KFYR TV. He has lived in Los Angeles for the first 13 years of his life. Lawrence dreamed of having a job that had to involve some aspect of weather. That dream became a reality when he moved to Kansas City in 1984. Fourteen years later, North Dakota became his new home.
Mr. Lawrence has received six Emmy Awards. He competed with fellow meteorologists in larger cities such as Minneapolis and Des Moines.
