Lauren Conrad And Lo Bosworth | Lauren Conrad Lo Bosworth
We first met Lauren Conrad and Lo Bosworth on MTV’s Laguna Beach in 2004, but it wasn’t until The Hills that we got a better look at their close friendship. While it seemed like their bond was unbreakable, something mysterious happened in 2016; both Lauren and Lo stopped posting photos with each other on social media and they stopped attending red carpet events together.
Lo didn’t even congratulate Lauren on social media when she gave birth to her first child in July, but they did reunite at a friend’s wedding the following month. It’s still unclear what went wrong, or who knows, maybe nothing happened and they’re still friends, but either way, here’s a look back at their friendship.
Lo Bosworth The Hills

And no one has changed more than Heidi, who looks for the approval of her mother and friends after undergoing numerous cosmetic surgeries. Inside The Hills Star Lo Bosworth’s ‘Peaceful’ Los Angeles Bungalow: ‘It’s Totally a Sanctuary’
Since The Hills wrapped in 2010, Lo Bosworth, 31, has ventured into the business world—with a lifestyle website, a podcast and, since 2016, a feminine-hygiene brand, Love Wellness, that includes probiotics, vitamins and cleansing solutions. But now that she’s built up her resume, she decided it was time to put down roots in this charming mid-century modern bungalow in Los Angeles. “It felt really beautiful from day one,” she tells PEOPLE in this week’s issue.

Lo Bosworth is dating a former ‘Shark Tank’ contestant
“The Hills” alum Bosworth is dating a guy who was once on “Shark Tank,” we’re told.
The 2000s reality star was at an event over the weekend with Jimmy DeCicco, co-creator of organic energy drink Kitu Super Coffee, which was featured on the hit ABC show last year.
DeCicco and his two brothers, who are also his business partners, didn’t land an investment from the show’s sharks, but their company has been a hit regardless.
The couple — who appear to have been dating about four months — were at something called the High-Performance Lifestyle Training Retreat at the Ainsworth.
“I guess they are pretty serious, but it’s still newish,” said a source.

The Hills: New Beginnings Trailer: MTV Revival Reunites ‘Speidi’ and Friends
So, how much has changed in the nine years since The Hills wrapped on MTV? It’s a fair question, one the cast enjoys discussing quite a bit in the full-length trailer for The Hills: New Beginnings. Unfortunately, it’s not a question that anyone actually answers. (Heck, we’re still not sure why former O.C. star Mischa Barton inexplicably shows up at the end.)
Regardless, nearly every cast member from the original series (2006–2010) is back for Round 2, including Heidi Montag, Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port, Stephanie Pratt, Jason Wahler, Brody Jenner, Spencer Pratt, Justin Bobby and Frankie Delgado. In addition to Barton, the OGs will be joined by Jenner’s wife Kaitlynn Carter, Delgado’s wife Jennifer and Wahler’s wife Ashley. What’s more, the cast is also welcoming Brandon Thomas Lee, son of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee.
Among those not returning from the original Hills are Lauren Conrad, Kristin Cavallari and Lo Bosworth. It’s also unclear whether we’ll see the likes of Jen Bunney, Holly Montag or Stacie Hall.

What Is Lo Bosworth Doing Now Instead of ‘The Hills: New Beginnings’?
It was basically impossible for anyone to dislike Lo Bosworth when she joined The Hills cast in season two (and, of course, Laguna Beach before that), which is why fans were disappointed to learn The Lo-Down author wouldn’t be coming back for the show’s upcoming reboot, The Hills: New Beginnings, premiering June 24.
Last summer, Lo was asked on the Conversations with Maria Menounos podcast whether or not she planned to join the cast. In typical Lo fashion, she giggled and replied no, although she admitted she was asked to.
“For me, I’m just really not that interested in going down that rabbit hole…reality TV was an interesting experience,” she told Menounos. “I’m acutely aware of the platform it has provided for me, and I feel extremely fortunate to have the experience because I have this life now because of it. I don’t know these people who are on the show—I know them, but I don’t have a relationship with any of them.”
Menounos even asked if Lo would change her mind if Lauren said yes to the show, but without hesitation, she still replied no and said she has no interest in reality TV anymore, which, TBH, good for her! She hasn’t talked to former pals like Audrina in years (you can hear more about that below).
So, what is Lo doing instead of the show, and what has she been doing since The Hills wrapped in 2010?
She released her first book, The Lo-Down, in 2011.
After launching her lifestyle website of the same name, Bosworth wrote a book about love and dating and incorporated stories from Laguna Beach and The Hills.
Two years later, she co-founded Revelry House, which eventually led to creating a YouTube channel.
Revelry House helped people throw awesome parties, and ultimately just be all-around-great hosts. “We’re no longer in business, unfortunately, but it was a fantastic experience to build [something] out of nothing. We sold a party in a box: We gave you all the plates and cups and decorations, and also taught you how to use them,” Bosworth told Cosmo in 2015. “When we shut down the business, I decided to attend culinary school to really follow my passion for food and cooking.”
She also launched a feminine hygiene company, Love Wellness, in 2016.
Bosworth told Elle, “I never thought that I would literally be The Vagina Lady, but here I am all of a sudden as The Vagina Lady, and it’s great!” Same.
She’s currently dating a former Shark Tank contestant.
Honestly, wouldn’t you? His name is Jimmy DeCicco and they look adorable together.
She just launched a podcast called, “I Love Wellness with Lo Bosworth.”
The podcast will focus on body positivity by creating a platform where women can share their personal health struggles. Oddly enough, there aren’t too many details on the podcast at the moment, but we’ll make sure to update this post as soon as there are.
The Hills: New Beginnings premieres June 24 at 10 p.m. EST on MTV.

What Is Lo Bosworth Doing In 2019? The Former ‘Hills’ Star Says She’s In Control Of Her Own Narrative Now
You probably remember Lo Bosworth from her days on Laguna Beach and The Hills. The trusty BFF of Lauren Conrad went from someone who popped onscreen during birthday parties and vacations in early episodes of The Hills to a larger presence during the show’s later seasons, and now she’s coming back for more. Lo is one of the original cast members who won’t be returning to The Hills: New Beginnings, but in 2019, Lo Bosworth has plenty more to keep her busy.
According to her website, Bosworth lives in New York City and spends her time working with Love Wellness, the women’s wellness company she founded back in 2016. The company’s site says she launched the brand after noticing “a serious lack of personal care products for women that were natural, safe, and effective,” and wanted to make a difference in that sphere.
On the company’s website, you can buy everything from vitamins, pH balancing cleansers, and other personal care items to products meant to help with period pain. Though these kinds of ~trendy~ self-care companies can sometimes raise a few eyebrows, Love Wellness has a medical advisory board made up of a urogynecologist and a board certified gynecology physician’s assistant, and all their supplements are developed with qualified food scientists, so hopefully, they keep things spic and span.
In addition to Love Wellness, Bosworth has a personal blog on her site, which includes lifestyle-based posts about her favorite beauty products and skincare routines, as well as recipes and fitness information. She also has a pretty great Instagram, where she frequently posts envy-worthy recipe tutorials on her stories.
As for why she’s not on The Hills: New Beginnings? As if the time commitment of running an actual company wasn’t enough of a reason, Bosworth says the very nature of her business ventures are part of why she avoided the reality TV revival. “When you participate in a show like that, you generally don’t have creative control over how you or your character is portrayed on TV,” Bosworth told Us Weekly. “I am an advocate for women. I’m a feminist. I own this business supporting women’s health. To not be able to be in control of my own narrative is just way too risky for me at this point.”
She also said she just doesn’t need that kind of platform in her life, especially with the drama often involved, both manufactured and otherwise. “For me, it’s just not worth it for me at this point,” she continued in the same interview. “I have so many other platforms, ways I’m able to talk to people. I can spread whatever message I want to spread, and mostly at this point, it’s one of positivity.”
Even though she basically coined the term “Justin-Bobby,” which will live on in The Hills Hall of Fame, it makes total sense that Bosworth isn’t returning to the show. She’s grown up, moved on, and has a cool new business to promote. Lauren Conrad won’t be back, either, so maybe the two of them can have watch parties and see what shenanigans the rest of their former crew is up to.
