TV star Brielle Biermann blames White Sox pitcher Michael Kopech for their 2018 split

White Sox pitcher Michael Kopech broke up with reality TV star Brielle Biermann last year without warning, she said on Sunday’s premiere of her family’s Bravo network series.
“I’m just like not in the mood to talk about Michael right now. What really sucks is that I had my whole life with Michael planned. I was about to move to Chicago for him,” Biermann said on the Season 7 premiere of “Don’t Be Tardy.”
Her younger sister, Ariana Biermann, added: “We never thought he was going to break up with you, and then we were all like, ‘Oh, (expletive).’”
Kopech, 22, and Biermann, 21, ended their relationship in March 2018 after nearly two years of dating. Neither really spoke publicly at the time about what went wrong. Here’s how the discussion about the break-up unfolded on Sunday’s episode:
“No,” Brielle Biermann said.
“How do you not hear from somebody that you were in a relationship with for two years?” Zolciak-Biermann said.
“Well, what still blows my mind is that there wasn’t a warning sign,” said Biermann’s father, Kroy Biermann.
“I was literally with him for a week and then two days later, he was like, ‘Let’s just take a break.’ And I’m just like, ‘OK, dude.’ Like, ‘I’ll let you know when I’m ready for you,’” Brielle Biermann said.
“When I’m ready for you? Uh huh,” Kroy Biermann said.
Kopech was only shown by a photograph on Sunday’s premiere. He made appearances on Season 6 of “Don’t Be Tardy,” which is a spinoff of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Zolciak-Biermann, 40, starred on that show for multiple seasons.
Kopech declined to comment about the show and Biermann Sunday at the Sox spring training facility in Arizona. He is expected to be ready for spring training in 2020 after undergoing Tommy John elbow surgery in September.
He’s also moved on with “Riverdale” actress Vanessa Morgan. He posted a Valentine’s Day tribute to her last week on Instagram.
