Former SNL star Sasheer Zamata clapped back at Louis C.K.’s horrible Parkland joke in her recent standup set
In a December 16th standup set in New York City, disgraced comedian Louis C.K. made jokes at the expense of the LGBTQ community, the disabled, and yes, even the Parkland shooting survivors (all of whom are still teenagers). Specifically, he said, “They testify in front of Congress, these kids? What the f-ck? What are you doing? F-ck you, you’re not interesting cause you went to a high school where kids got shot. Why does that mean I have to listen to you? How does that make you interesting? You didn’t get shot, you pushed some fat kid in the way, and now I gotta listen to you talking.”
He crassly concluded with what he believes their generation should be doing:”Finger-f-cking each other and doing Jell-O shots.”
And former SNL star Sasheer Zamata is now taking him to task. During a January 9th standup set in Los Angeles, she decided to “rewrite” C.K.’s bit.He says that the survivors of the shootings shouldn’t be spending their time talking to Congress about gun control. Instead they should be ‘finger-f-cking’ each other. But who’s to say they’re not? They can do both!” she declared per Variety. “They’re teenagers—of course they’re finger-f-cking each other!” she said. “They just know how to separate sex from work, which I understand is a hard concept for Louie to grasp. Which is ironic, because we all know how much Louie loves to grasp hard concepts.”
